About this tool

What it does

Wraps native SOL into WSOL or unwraps WSOL back to SOL from one compact panel. Pick the direction, enter the amount, and execute a non-custodial conversion with on-chain confirmation.

How it works

Choose Wrap or Unwrap, type the amount or use MAX from your live balance, then sign. The tool builds the right associated-token-account or close instruction and sends it through the connected wallet.

Why use it

Faster than building wrap and unwrap instructions manually. Live balance refresh, dual direction toggle, MAX input, summary preview, and explorer-ready output keep the conversion safe to verify before signing.

How to wrap or unwrap WSOL in 3 steps

  1. Pick the direction and amount

Choose Wrap SOL to convert native SOL into WSOL, or Unwrap WSOL to close the wrapped account back into native SOL. Enter the amount manually or use MAX for the full balance.

  2. Review the summary

Check the conversion summary panel for the mode, input token, output token, and network. Refresh balances if needed so the displayed values match the wallet state before signing.

  3. Execute and confirm

Click Execute Conversion to sign. The tool runs the bot pipeline, submits the transaction, and shows the explorer-ready signature so you can verify the wrap or unwrap on-chain.

What is wrapped SOL on Solana?

Wrapped SOL (WSOL) is native SOL held inside an SPL token account so it behaves like any other SPL token. Many DEX routes, AMM pools, and DeFi integrations expect token-style balances, so SOL has to be wrapped before it can be swapped or deposited. Unwrapping closes the WSOL account and returns the lamports as native SOL. The wrap and unwrap operations are non-custodial and reversible — the only on-chain cost is the standard Solana network fee plus the rent-exempt minimum that lives inside the token account while it is open.

Key features

  • Dual direction toggle — Switch between SOL to WSOL and WSOL to SOL from one panel
  • MAX-enabled amount input that pulls from the latest available balance
  • Live balance refresh button so summary values match the on-chain wallet state
  • Conversion summary panel — Mode, input, output, and network shown before signing
  • Non-custodial signing through the connected wallet adapter or private-key source
  • Bot pipeline indicator — Preflight, planner, and execution watcher status during the run
  • Explorer-ready output — Open the resulting signature in Solscan to verify the conversion
