Does cloning change the original token?

No. The original mint, its authorities, and its holder balances are untouched. The clone is a brand-new token with its own mint address that simply reuses the source metadata as a starting point.

Can I clone any SPL token, including Pump.fun?

Yes. The loader reads metadata for standard SPL mints and Pump.fun tokens. If a field is missing on chain you can fill it manually before launch instead of being blocked by the original token shape.

Will the cloned token have the same holders?

No. Holders only exist on the source mint. Use the Multi Sender tool after launch if you want to airdrop the cloned token to the same wallet list or to any other distribution plan you build.

Can I edit the symbol or supply after loading?

Yes. Every field — name, symbol, decimals, supply, image, socials — is editable in the form before you sign. The loader fills the defaults so you only need to adjust what you want to change.

Is the new mint address fixed before launch?

Only if you enable the custom mint or vanity option. Otherwise a fresh keypair is generated when the transaction signs, which is fine for most launches that do not need a branded contract address.

How much does cloning cost?

You pay a fixed platform fee plus the Solana network cost for rent and signature, shown in the fee summary before you confirm. Total is typically a fraction of a SOL for a standard cloned launch.
